Merging Tags from the same level

Navigate to:

  • 'Admin settings’ in the top right-hand corner of simply stakeholders

  • ‘Tracking & Data Organisation’

  • ‘Manage Tags’

Once you're in ‘Manage Tags’ you will see a list of all of your Tags.

These are separated into levels:

  • Admin Tags (which we also refer to as a Parent Tag)

  • Subtags (under the parent)

  • User tags (the grey tags which users have created in a record)

Tags can be merged only when they are on the same level.

There are 2 ways to merge a same level tag.

  1. Select the check box to the left of the Tags you want to merge (this option is best for any tags that you would like to combine, that are similar but not an exact duplicate). The select 'Merge Tags' in the top right hand corner.

The other way is to use the drop down arrow on the 'Merge Tags' button and select 'Merge Duplicate Tags' (this option will show you a list of exact duplicate Tags).

Select the checkboxes next to the the tags you want to merge and select 'Merge'

Merging Tags from different levels

Navigate to:

  • 'Admin settings’ in the top right-hand corner of simply stakeholders

  • ‘Tracking & Data Organisation’

  • ‘Manage Tags’

Once you're in ‘Manage Tags’ you will see a list of all of your Tags.

  • Subtags (under the parent)

  • User tags (the grey tags which users have created in a record)

Tags can be merged only when they are on the same level.

To Merge tags on different levels, first you need to make them the same level. You do this by simply dragging and dropping. For example, if you have a subtag and a user tag that are the same, you need to drag and drop the user tag over on top of the subtag, so they are both on the same level.
