Simply Stakeholders provides a simple and easy way to manage your Users. The User with an Administrator role has the ability to add users, remove users and review access permissions from the Admin settings menu.
Note: Each license has a set number of Users, if you have reached the maximum number of Users, and you wish to increase the limit, please contact us at [email protected]
How to Add a User/s
Key Steps
Head to the admin settings in Simply Stakeholders.
Go to access and security, then select users.
Click on the green add button to add a new user.
Enter the user's email address, display name, and mobile number.
Once the information is added, the profile will be automatically created.
Select the role to assign to the user (e.g., project user).
Ensure the role provides appropriate access permissions for the user's responsibilities.
Save the changes.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that the user's email address, display name, and mobile number are entered accurately to avoid issues with user identification.
Double-check the assigned role to guarantee the user has the necessary access rights for their tasks.
Tips for Efficiency
Maintain a clear record of users and their assigned roles to easily track and manage access permissions.
Regularly review and update user roles as needed to align with organizational changes or project requirements.
How to Remove a User/s
To maintain data integrity, Users cannot be deleted, but instead are made inactive. This ensures that audits can be conducted and that information remains available after the team member has left.
Navigate to the Admin Settings menu
Select Users & Roles
Select the user from the left hand side column
Deselect all of the access levels assigned and as an extra layer of security, select Locked
Click Save
How to Unlock a User
A User will be locked when they enter the incorrect password 3 times. An Administrator can unlock the User and send a link to reset the password after the account has been unlocked.
Search for the locked User
Untick the Locked checkbox
Click Save
Click Send Password Reset Email
To request for an account to be unlocked, the first point of contact is the Account Administrator (internal to the organisation). The Account Administrator or Owner can also instruct a member of the Simply Stakeholder's team to unlock an account by emailing the Customer Success Account Executive or [email protected].
For security and privacy purposes we cannot unlock a user without instruction from the Account Administrator or Owner.
Export or Filter User list
An Administrator can filter or export their list of Users from the administration interface:

Navigate to the Admin Settings menu
Select Users & Roles
Select the three horizontal lines icon to filter your users by None; Active; Inactive; Locked; or Unlocked
Select the box with down-pointed arrow icon to export your User list, if you have applied filters the filtered list will be exported only.
