Tips and tricks on how the data should be cleaned before loading it to the platform

By using the bulk upload functionality, large amounts of stakeholder details can be added quickly through an Excel file. These files are typically created by aggregating data from multiple sources and users.

To ensure that the data consistent and loads successfully into SSTK, please follow the below steps:

· Remove all formatting – including merged cells/ highlighted

· Remove any non-standard characters such as (), -/spaces in the phone number

· Remove double ups of phone numbers in 1 cell - such as mobile and landline

· Ensure you have correct data in the correct fields

· Split the landline and mobile phone number into 2 columns

· All records must have a first name. This field cannot be left blank - if they do not either add Unknown or a .

· Split a full name into first name/last name – use text to columns

· Remove double ups of emails in 1 cell and add the second email into the about cell

· Remove duplicates

· Once cleaned the save the file as .xls
