Understanding the Navigation & Admin menus and key icons used in Simply Stakeholders.

Understanding Simply Stakeholders' menus and iconography will make your user experience easier and smoother. The Platform has two main menus - the Navigation Side Bar and the Admin Menu. Our User Interface has a number of common icons that are used across the Platform.

Navigation Side Bar

The menu on the left of your screen is the main navigation for Simply Stakeholders. Each Icon represents a different page/function. Please note that your Simply Stakeholders Account might not have all the functions as some are optional like Properties and Forms.

Dashboard – A customisable overview of the project via interactive widgets/cards.

Stakeholders – Access to all Stakeholder records and used to view, search, filter, bulk edit and export. Records can be viewed in a list or opened as singular records to edit individually.

Interactions – Access to all Interaction records and used to view, search, filter, bulk edit and export. Records can be viewed in a list or opened as singular records to edit individually.

Tasks – Access to all Tasks and used to create Tasks and Task boards, view, search, filter, bulk edit and manage your Tasks. Tasks can be viewed in a list, calendar, by customisable Kanban Task Boards, or opened as singular records to edit individually.

Properties* – Access to all Property records and used to view, search, filter, bulk edit and export. Records can be viewed in a list or opened as singular records to edit individually. This is a paid optional add-on.

Forms* – This is your Forms Module and is the interface you will use to create, edit and send out Forms to your Stakeholders. This is a paid optional add-on.

Group Mail* – This is your Group Mail Module and is the interface you will use to create and send out Group Mail. Send via Outlook is included, however SendGrid and Whispir are paid integration options for additional functionality.

Reports – This is your custom Reports Module and is the interface you will use to build custom Reporting dashboards. You can create as many Reports as you need, unique to your project reporting needs.

Simply Stakeholders Icons

There are different icons on every page to guide users through Simply Stakeholders. They are used to represent functions, frame important information or provide a link to another page. Some of the commonly used Simply Stakeholders icons can be found within the Modules and Record View pages are listed below.

Shared record – indicates record has been shared across projects

Bulk edit – allows you to apply an action to a selection of records

Mini-dashboard – An overview of the records via interactive widgets/cards.

Filters – opens a side bar of filter categories

Map view* - not available for Tasks, paid option

Stakeholders Module

Network Mapping – Shows a network map of how the Stakeholder is connected to other Stakeholder and Relationship Manager records in your Project

Change to Organisation

Changes the Stakeholder category from Individual to an Organisation

Change to Inactive - Marks the Stakeholder as inactive and they will not be able to be linked to future interactions. We recommend that you perform this action, rather than deleting the stakeholder profile. This will retain the history of the stakeholder and keep a record of their involvement within the project, including emails, meeting records, complaints etc.

Change to Active - reactivates Stakeholder

Clone - Create a copy of the existing stakeholder record. To Save the copy, some details will need to be changed.

Delete - Delete the record. Only available to certain User levels

Print – Prints a PDF report of the individual Stakeholder record

Unsubscribe - Stakeholders who have asked to be removed from mailing lists. Stakeholders with this setting would not be included in any Group Mail distribution lists.

Subscribe - You can also toggle this back on this if a Stakeholder requests to be resubscribed.
