Simply Stakeholders has two main search functions, complimented by the Module Filters function. Using the search function allows you to quickly and easily find a record you are looking for.
Searching in Simply Stakeholders
There are two search options, the Search Anything Bar in the top navigation bar, and the Module Search Bar. Depending on what you are looking for, and how, depends on which of these search options will be best for you.

Using the Search Anything Bar
To use the search anything bar type in a keyword related to stakeholders, interactions, or tasks. Example: Searching for 'Jamison' will show related Interactions, Stakeholders and Tasks split across three tabs, in the order from most to least relevant:
The Search Anything Bar results will show results with the keyword related to the name, subject or message content, or task, as well as related to linked Stakeholders, Interactions or Properties*:

Viewing Search Results
Results will display from most relevant to least relevant as related to the search keyword - the search will include message content and linked records.
The search results will default to show Interactions, click to the tab relevant to the record type you are after. Once you have located the desired record, click the record from the drop down list and the system will open the desired record in a new tab.
You can view all records related to the search term by clicking the link at the bottom of the results Show all results for "keyword":

Navigate to the specific module (e.g., Stakeholders, Interactions).
Enter a name or keyword in the search bar to find relevant records

Searching using All Projects Mode
If you are an Account Administrator or a Project Admin you can use the 'All Projects' mode, via the Project drop-down menu in the top left, to search across all projects Account-wide or All Projects in a Project Group.

From the Search Anything Bar results you can view "Show all results" to see the list of records in the relevant module, including a column showing which project the record is located in.

Please note that the 'All Projects' mode is read-only, if you need to edit a record, locate it in the 'All Projects' mode, then navigate to the relevant project to edit the record.
Understanding Filters vs. Search
In Simply Stakeholders you can locate records by using the search options outlined above, or by using the Module Filters.

Filters are best used to narrow down records based on existing qualities, building a list of records for export or bulk editing, and for Advanced Reporting options. The best way to think of this is:
Use filters when you know specific tags or classifications.
Use search when you are unsure of what you are looking for.
Notes
The 'All Projects' mode is read-only and only available to Project Admins or Account Admins; ensure you switch to the correct project for editing.
Always verify the relevance of search results before proceeding with actions.
Use specific keywords to narrow down search results quickly.
Familiarize yourself with the Filters functionality to enhance your search capabilities and to ensure which option is the best fit.
