How to update an individual stakeholder's organisation

Scenario:

You've been informed that your stakeholder no longer works at the same organisation, and now you need to update the details in Simply Stakeholders.

Update individual stakeholder's organisation via the Contact panel:

  1. Click the Stakeholder icon on the left of the screen.

  2. Click the name of the stakeholder you want to access. This will open the stakeholder record.

  3. Click Edit in the Contact panel on the left to open the editing popup.

  4. Hover over the organisation to be unlinked.

  5. Click the Unlink icon at the far right.

  6. Click + Add more.

  7. Click in the Organisation field.

  8. Select an existing organisation from the dropdown.
    OR
    Type in a new organisation and press Enter.

  9. In the Position field. select an existing position,
    OR
    Type in a new position and press Enter.

  10. A warning will appear asking if the new organisation is to be the stakeholder's primary organisation. Click Yes or No.

  11. Click Save.
    Note: If you entered a new organisation, it will automatically be created in the database.

Update individual stakeholder's organisation via the Relationships tab:

Alternatively, you can update an individual organisation from the stakeholder's Relationship tab.

  1. Click the Stakeholder icon on the left of the screen.

  2. Click the name of the stakeholder you want to access. This will open the stakeholder record.

  3. Click the Relationships tab at the top.

  4. Click the Stakeholder's icon .

  5. Click the ellipsis menu at the far right of the organisation to be unlinked (if required) and click Unlink.

  6. Click Add Stakeholder in the top right.

  7. Select the new organisation from the dropdown,
    OR
    Click Create new stakeholder, enter the new organisation's details and click Save.

  8. A warning will appear asking if the new organisation is to be the stakeholder's primary organisation. Click Yes or No.

  9. Back in the stakeholder's record, type in their current title in the Position field and select the relevant Division in the organisation.
