Configure Stakeholder Relationships

How to create a predefined list of stakeholder relationships.

Stakeholder relationships

Simply Stakeholders allows users to link stakeholders with other stakeholders and record the relationship they have with each other.

Stakeholders can be linked in 5 ways:

  • Individual to Individual
    Link an individual to an individual to show relationships such as Family, Neighbour, Spouse, Colleague etc.

  • Organisation to Organisation
    Link an organisation to an organisation to show the relationships between organisations such as Parent Company, Corporate Partnership etc.

  • Individual to Organisation
    Link an individual to an organisation to show/link the employees and their position within the organisation.

  • Organisation to Division
    Link an organisation to a division to show different divisions/departments within an organisation.

  • Stakeholder to Property
    Link a stakeholder to a property to show the stakeholder's relationship with the property.

Set up stakeholder relationships

Note:

You need to be an admin or project admin to access stakeholder relationships.

The predefined list of relationships needs to be set up by an administrator. Once set up, any user can update the stakeholders.

  1. Click the Admin Settings icon in the top right corner.

  2. Select Tracking & Data Organisation, then Stakeholder Relationships.

  3. Select the Record Type.

  4. Enter a new relationship name and click Add to create a new one.
    OR
    Click the Edit icon to change the name of an existing relationship.
